Standing with Colombia: Whats going on and how YOU can help

As of Monday August 10, Colombia is currently facing a catastrophic earthquake at the raging magnitude of 7.4. The earthquake was centered near San Jose del Palmar in the Choco Department. This is Colombia's strongest earthquake in nearly a decade, triggering a state emergency.

Hundreds of fatalities have been reported across districts such as Risaralda, Valle del Cauca, and Choco. Thousands are injured and thousands more are missing as rescue teams work nonstop sifting through rubble.

Populated cities like Pereira and Cali experiences severe structural damage with dozens of buildings collapsing countless trapped or homeless. Healthcare centers, schools, and community facilities have been severely damaged and now considered completely unusable. Essential services such as power, water, roads and air travel have come to a halt during these devastating times.
